Wilson Harding Talley went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 12, 2011. Wilson was born July 10, 1922 in Waco, TX to Maggie (Lula) Thorpe Talley and Richard Talley. He was one of eight children. He worked from the time he was four years old helping provide for his family during the Great Depression. He was most proud of his service to our country in two branches of the military particularly the US Marine Corp. He married Margaret Brun on June 21, 1947. She preceded him in death. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. They have three children: Ronald (Bonnie) Talley, Kathleen (Gary) Reile, Mary Jane (James) Jahnsen. Wilson and Margaret have eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren: Melinda (Stephen) Black and Ethan; Garrett (Kristi) Reile and Brooklynn; Sarah (Roland) Davis and Tru and Journee; Alyssa Jahnsen, Emery Jahnsen, Audrie Jahnsen; Shannon Hensley, Jay (Marleen) Hensley. The family wishes to thank the healthcare providers at Methodist Hospital and Odyssey House Hospice Care. Graveside service with military honors will be on Thursday, April 14, 2011, 10 a.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery.
