Terrance Curry Peace

Terrance (Terri) Lynne Curry Peace passed away peacefully on July 26, 2026. She was born in San Antonio, Texas on November 1, 1949, to Judge Peter Michael Curry and Mary Margaret Curry. She attended Alamo Heights High School and received her undergraduate degree from University of Texas at Austin, and her law degree from St. Mary's University Law School in San Antonio, Texas in 1974. Her first job after law school was with Legal Aid of San Antonio. She practiced family law alongside her brother Bruce and sister Kathleen before practicing criminal law and worker's compensation law.

Terri had a sharp legal mind and compassion to help the underserved. She and her son Sam spent many Saturday mornings delivering meals to those in need with Meals on Wheels of San Antonio. She was fluent in Spanish which helped her assist her Spanish speaking clients. She enjoyed needlepoint and crochet, playing the piano, baking, gardening and listening to classical music.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Kathleen Leslie Curry, her brother, Bruce Biggs Robertson, Jr., her father, Peter Michael Curry, and her mother, Mary Margaret Curry and numerous aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her son, Christopher Joseph Snell (and wife Rachel) and her grandchildren Evan and Luke; her daughter, Suzanne Elizabeth Snell Medlock (and husband Ron); her son Samuel Peter Michael Alkek (and fiancé Emily); her brother Michael Curry (and wife Lisa), nieces Heather and Alison (and husband Brandt) and their children Payton and Addie, and by numerous Lebanese cousins.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to Blanca and Elizabeth (South Texas Hospice) for their selfless acts of kindness and compassion during Terri's final years.
