Sharon
Greenwalt
Sep 30, 1944 — Dec 11, 2024
San Antonio
Sharon lived her life in service to the Lord first, then to her husband, Robert. She lovingly
raised four children. Her grandchildren came to know her as friend.
Sharon had the sweetest of hearts and always put others before herself. A true example of a
disciple in the Lord. Sharing Jesus in word and deed everywhere she went. Whether it was
in a restaurant, shopping, working, serving, cooking, entertaining, and even cleaning.
In the beginning of her food and service ministry Sharon volunteered in the kitchen at
Calvery Temple in Denver, Colorado. She went on to open Pappy's Ice Cream Parlor in
Grand Junction, Colorado with Robert. She worked diligently making homemade ice cream
and adding lunches to the menu. After 8 years she and Robert sold the shop and moved to
California. Later she volunteered in the Hub at Grove Community Church in Riverside,
California. She worked setting up and serving special events for the community and the
church. Through her example she taught us work ethic and sacrifice. Always with a smile
on her face and heart.
Sharon loved to worship the Lord. Even alone at home playing the piano. She loved to
study the Word of God and was always hungry for more of Him. Going to bible studies
every place she lived. Whether in Colorado, Kansas, California or Texas. Missing a Sunday
at church was never her idea.
She will be missed by her husband of 61 years, Robert (Bob) Greenwalt. Her children and
their spouses Bill and Lisa Greenwalt, Wes and Karla Greenwalt, Kaylyn and Mike Clubb,
Dena and Larry Davis. Along with her 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. We all
look forward to being reunited with her in our futures.
Sharon is preceded in death by her mother, Regina Smith, her father Vernon Smith, her
mother-in-law Eva Greenwalt, and father-in-law Alex Greenwalt.
The Lord bless you and keep you;
the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you;
the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.
