Rose Ann (Rosi) Griesenbeck passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at the age of 92.  Rosi was born on September 15, 1929, in Dayton, Kentucky to the late Leon and Sarah Reekers.

Rosi moved to San Antonio in 1945 to attend Alamo Heights High School, where she was a cheerleader and was involved in several clubs. After graduating high school in 1947, she went on to Trinity University, but left to pursue a modeling career.  She was published in many newspapers and magazines, and even appeared in Vogue magazine.

On October 3, 1950, Rosi married Timothy Tynan Griesenbeck of San Antonio.  They enjoyed a long life together for more than 70 years. Theirs was a true love story, and together they raised six children.  Rosi loved fashion, especially her boots and jewelry, the holidays, cold weather, mystery movies, decorating, antiques, desserts, Fox news and most of all, her grandchildren.

Rosi is preceded in death by her parents, husband Tim, sons Ty and Chris. She is survived by her daughter Tina and husband Bill; son Todd and wife Teresa; son Kenny; daughter Amy and husband Joel;  thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

We also wish to extend our deepest gratitude to Linda Moncada, who went above and beyond helping and caring for Tim and Rosi for these past several years, and to Loving Arms Hospice.
