Ramon Mares age 88, born on January 22, 1936 in Frío County Texas, to parents Refugio Collazo and Gregoria Tijerina. Ramon passed away peacefully February 7, 2024. Ramon is survived by his wife of 45yrs, Nahum R Mares. They had 3 daughters, Nahum Mares, Gracie Mares Cavazos, and Belinda Mares. Ramon also had 2 sons, Eddie Collazo, and Ray Collazo. Ramon had 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Ramon was hard-working man who was a proud marine and served in the Korean War. He went on to become a truck driver for 10+ years. He enjoyed gardening, western movies, and listening to music. He also loved to snack on Doritos and Pecan Sandies, while washing it down with some Jim Beam.

Ramon lived a very fulfilling life and has left some great memories for his family.
