Mark D Vernone, born September 11, 1964 passed away suddenly November 10 ^th 2022.  He was 58 years old. Through his life Mark worked as a policeman and a vault manager before settling in as a small business owner. A cowboy at heart, he was a great fan of John Wayne and was involved for many years with the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo. Mark loved dogs, dancing, hunting and shooting. Always quick witted, he never missed the chance to tell a good story. Being part of a military family that moved several times while growing up, Mark learned to make friends wherever he went. Strangers became friends and friends became family. Mark was always lending a helping hand and many counted on him in their times of need to provide a listening ear or shoulder to cry on. He will be remembered for his generous heart. He is survived by his brother Michael, and his sisters Maryann and Michelle, along with a whole host of cousins and friends. The family will be holding a celebration of life on December 10 ^th from 2pm – 7pm at the Loft Coffee House in Spring Branch, Texas.
