Malcolm Owen Biediger passed away surrounded by love on Sunday, April 17, 2022 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 81. Born on May 27, 1940 in La Coste, Texas, he was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Alois Biediger, Sr. and Rosa Riecherzer-Biediger; his siblings, Clarence Biediger, Richard Biediger, Henry Biediger, Carroll Biediger and Grace Hitzfelder; and his grandson, James Herbert.

Malcolm enjoyed living every single day to the fullest. As a young man, he believed he was called to serve and entered the seminary. Before completing his studies, he began longing for a beautiful family like his oldest brother, Richard, and chose to change his course of study to accounting.
He began his capitalist endeavors as as a shoe shine boy in his dad's barbershop, and later delighted in numerous entrepreneurial pursuits including furniture and playground manufacturing and sales and transportation services.
Malcolm enjoyed an eclectic array of hobbies including dancing, singing, sailing, water skiing, kayaking, tubing, rafting, riding motorcycles, flying, hiking, photography, cribbage, dominoes, roller skating, cooking, creative problem solving, and socializing along the way. He enjoyed the company of hundreds of friends over the course of decades, and all who knew him talked about his kindness, generosity, and fun-loving nature.
