Kathryn R. Few joined her father Millard in Heaven on April 13, 2011. She was born July 19, 1956 to Millard and Mae Few in Albuquerque, NM. She attended high school at South San Antonio High School, received her bachelor's of Science degree from Texas Woman's University majoring in advanced reading for children, and her master's degree from Our Lady of the Lake. Kathy taught reading to advanced children and later became a school counselor. During her career she received many achievement awards for her work with children, but her best reward was to see her children learn and grow. Kathy taught at South San Antonio and Pearsall and was a school counselor at Pearsall, Eagle Lake, Smithville and San Antonio Northeast. Kathy was preceded in death by her father Millard Few. She is survived by her mother Mae, and four brothers, Jerry, Tommy, Mike and Nick. She is also survived by numerous close friends and many former students who she considered family too. Memorial Service for Katy will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, San Antonio TX.
