Juan Martinez Avila, age 70, born on March 17th 1953 in Mexico City to parents Natalia Martinez Tovar and Jesus Avila Moreno, went to be with the lord on December 5th 2023. Juan is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Yolanda Avila. Juan and Yolanda met in Mexico City quickly falling in love and uniting in marriage, later on welcoming four beautiful children to their family; Natalia Martinez Tovar (daughter), Juan Avila Jr. (son), David Avila (son), and Patricia Avila (daughter). Juan is also survived by his daughter in laws; Sonia Avila and Jacqueline Avila, and son in laws Ismael Tellez and Agustin Avila, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Juan was a family man, who adored his grandchildren and great grandbaby, and loved spending as much time as possible with them. He enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, and having family get-togethers, barbecuing, and listening to music, making memories with his family dancing the evenings away. Juan had a fruitful career as a landscaper for 34 years at Trinity University.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers.

Juan was a loving, caring man who was blessed with a beautiful family whom he always put first. Anyone who met him, grew to love him. Juan will be remembered as having a joyful heart, spreading his love and positive attitude to all those around him. He will be greatly missed by anyone who had the pleasure of crossing his path.
