Joseph Loyd Ebbecke passed from this Earth May 24, 2014 following an extended illness. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Verda Ebbecke as well as his sister Nita Jane Reynolds. He is survived by his brothers Donald James Ebbecke, Francis V. Ebbecke, sister-in-law Deborah M. Ebbecke, nieces Karla Neely-Reynolds, Kristi Reynolds-Styers, Jeanine Ebbecke and nephew David Ebbecke. He served in the US Navy and worked as a cancer nurse at Methodist Hospital. His wit and kind concern for others will be missed by all who knew him. Services are scheduled June 2, 2014 at Saint David's Episcopal Church 12:00 noon with grave side services at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 1:15 PM.
