JoNell Glaenzel was born in San Antonio on November 28th, 1954. She left this world on August 18th 2024 leaving behind a legacy of love, generosity, kindness and unforgettable memories.

JoNell was preceded in death by her parents: Ganahl (Mike) and Irene Glaenzel

Survived by her brother, Gerald Glaenzel, numerous cousins (Truss, Wiatrek and Woitena families) and her cats and dog, Itsy Bitsy.

JoNell was retired from the San Antonio State Hospital and SAISD. She had a love for art, music, playing the guitar, gardening, volunteering at NIOSA, her animals, and she was very strong in her faith. She enjoyed getting together with her St. Teresa Alumni friends and painting her Fiesta bags for NIOSA. JoNell was also a member of The Conservation Society of San Antonio.

JoNell will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
