Gudrun "Goodie" E. Boatright entered into Heaven on May 30, 2015 at the age of 78. Goodie was born to Adalbert and Elfriede Neuert on February 18, 1937 in Pforzheim, Germany. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Jimmy Boatright. She is survived by her son Donald W. Boatright of San Antonio; her sister Gerlinde Hartmann of Germany; brother-in-Law Earl Wayne Boatright and sisters-in-law Patsy Lujan and Londa Boatright, all of Hamlin, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews. Goodie was a clerical worker at the San Antonio State Hospital for over 30 years. Funeral services will be held at the Olinger~Saenz Mortuary Chapel. Her family will be receiving visitors on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 from 5:00p.m.-9:00p.m. Visitation will resume on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 11a.m. with a chapel service at 2p.m. Services will conclude in the chapel.
