Genevieve Martinez Reyes, lovingly known as Genoveva, went to be with the Lord on January 14, 2022 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 89. Born in Gonzales, Texas, she is preceded in death by her parents, Cornelio R. Martinez and Barbara Tobias Martinez; her beloved husband, Oscar A. Reyes; her sister, Rose Bautista; and her brothers, Herman Martinez and Martin Martinez.

Genoveva greatly enjoyed tending to her garden, being a seamstress and traveling.

She is survived by her children, Edward Reyes, Emelda Gonzales, Daniel Reyes and Steven Reyes; her 10 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren; her 6 nephews; and her extended family and friends who loved her and will miss her greatly.

The Memorial Mass for Genoveva at Our Lady of the Angels Church - 1214 Stonewall St, San Antonio, TX 78211 - will be announced at a later date. Please consider leaving a condolence for the Reyes Family. We appreciate your support during this difficult time.
