Daniel Walter Palmer passed away on December 7th, 2023, at the age of 76. Daniel was born on February 14th, 1947, to Wayne and Blanche Palmer.  He married the love of his life Sandra (Sandi) Palmer on August 21st,1966. He served in the Navy from 1966 to 1970.

After his military service, he worked for F. E. Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne, Wyoming. After retiring from that job, he and Sandi moved to Casa Grande, Arizona where they stayed until Sandi died on December 1, 2010. Dan remained in Casa Grande until 2018 when he moved to Canyon Lake, Texas to be near his son's family.

He loved spending time with his family, talking about cars and trucks, watching sports, and tinkering with stuff. In his younger years, he also really enjoyed hunting with his boys.

Daniel is survived by his two sons Troy (Jennifer) of Mesquite, Nevada and Jon (Shannon) of Canyon Lake, Texas; his sister Alleyne Rizor of Casa Grande, Arizona; eight grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Sandi; his parents, Wayne and Blanche; his brother, Larry; and grandson, Trevor.
