Bettye L. Dahmer, age 80 of San Antonio passed away July 19, 2011. She was the daughter of John Henry and Lilly Mae McBride. She was raised in Stockdale and considered it Home. She still has many family members that live in the area. Mom will be sorely missed by her three children Dawn, Mike and John Mansfield, her grandchildren Andrew, Leah, Michaela, Kelley, Devyn and the many family and friends who loved her. She had a way of making everyone in her life feel special, sharing their joy or making their burden a little lighter. She cared for all of her intimate relations during her life and always created beautiful nurturing homes filled with her artistic endeavors. We mourn the death and celebrate the life of this beautiful lady. A visitation will be on Friday, July 22, 2011, 10 a.m. with a service at 12 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church, 102 W. Main St., Stockdale, TX with a graveside service to follow at Stockdale Cemetery.
