Barbara  Ann Drawert

Born in Big Spring, TX 11-9-1949

Passed away in San Antonio, TX 2-15-2024

Survived by her sister Deborah Lumpkins and her husband, Robert Lumpkins of Tyler, TX, her sister-in-law and friend, Carolyn Drawert, brother-in-law, Jim Drawert of Dallas, TX, close friends Margaret Scott, Sharon Stevens, Traci Sholtis and Joanna Caskey, and many Drawert nephews and nieces.

Barbara was most proud of her past work alongside T. Boone Pickens and the executive staff at Mesa Petroleum in Amarillo, Texas, as Administrative Assistant.

Barbara's hobbies included tending her plants, cooking (which her recipes always started with a stick of butter), politics, and she loved her cats.  Barbara had a great love of good food, wine, margaritas, milk shakes, ice cream and fruit cake, approved by the Queen.

As said by one of her dearest friends, "Barbara was a wonderful friend, full of strength, compassion and love for others.  No matter what situation she was dealing with she took those storms head on."
