Alice Mendiola born May 14, 1951 passed away on October 28, 2011 peacefully in her home. God needed a good angel, so, He took Alice to heaven. Alice is survived by her husband Neil Mendiola, three brothers: Celestino Mendoza, Jr. & his wife Linda, Juan Mendoza & his wife Rose and Ricardo Mendoza & his wife Jeanette; two half sisters: Emma Martinez and Chana Rodriguez; two step daughters: Jackie, Lois; one step son: Neil; numerous nephews and nieces. Alice is preceded in death by her parents: Celestino and Rosa Mendoza. Alice graduated from Fox Tech in 1969. She worked at Nix Home Healthcare for 11 years, where she had many good friends. Alice had a radiant personality. She left us with her warm afterglow. She will be missed. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at St. Paul Catholic Church, 350 Sutton Dr., on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
