Aaron Galvan, born on October 11th, 1948 in Harlingen, Texas has sadly passed away on August 3rd, 2024. Aaron relocated to Fort Worth, Texas during his childhood, where he spent many years creating memories. He later went on to dedicate 21 years of his life to serving in the United States Navy. Aaron was an incredibly proud veteran and never missed an opportunity to show his solidarity and support for the military.

He relocated to San Antonio in 2020, where he became a proud member of VFW Post 9174, and frequently enjoyed the company at the Speedway bar. His beloved miniature pinscher mix, Lucy, was also by his side through thick and thin.

In retirement, Aaron found joy in tipsy karaoke, playing pool, sharing war stories, spoiling his grandchildren, enjoying a good Jameson and Coke, and feeding the jukebox. He truly embodied his motto: "Rock and roll till I die," living his days to their fullest.

Aaron is preceded in death by his parents, Manual and Carlotta Galvan, brothers David and Isaac Galvan, and sisters Josephine, Patricia, and Aurora.

He is survived by his brother Arthur Galvan, sister Dora Wayland, and his four beloved children: Aaron B. Galvan, Cecilia E. Hill (Rob), Thomas A. McGrath-Galvan (Katherine), and Sabrina A. Galvan (Jibi), along with five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and numerous extended family and friends.

Aaron was a strong-willed, caring man whose legacy will continue to live on. His presence was a true gift to anyone who was fortunate enough to cross his path. He will be truly missed by all who loved him.
